Inside the bookstore close to Notre Dame.

Then it's time for a visit to Louvren and Mona Lisa (still looks the same as last time). On the way from Louvren we cross the street and almost get overdriven by the car belonging to Israels prime minister. Some secret agents or whatever it's hurry us across, stupid tourists...

11 th of July Innsbruck

Today we're going to hike in the alps....Hmmm what route should we take many to choose from. Something not that hard, an easy walk for let say 3 hours. We take the furnicular and then the cableway to Zeegrube 1905 m one way of course since we're walking down.

The view is magnificent and the weather is just perfect there is still snow up here. The sun is shining and it's warm.

This is so Austria....

After a while the signs are not that easy to see anymore and we're taking short cuts at least that's what we think. Clock is ticking and my legs and hips start to hurt... At 2 pm in the afternoon we're still walking and still at 3 pm. Then my brother makes us walk down a steep. I can barley walk and there is no turning back. I can't walk upwards. Instead I'm falling on my butt on my knees and hands several meters. And my brother starts shouting stop throwing stones. I get really mad with him like I'm throwing stones I'm trying so hard to surrvive and not get killed.

At 4 pm we're down that mountain my legs is like JELLO. I can't walk on them it's impossible. Back at the hotel I feel the pain in my whole body. My brother takes a shower and some pills. But I'm not. No pills, no shower I don't care anymore and we got to walk up to the train station and buy tickets to Stuttgart that's we're going to tomorrow.

After we bought the train tickets we're having chineese and after that I'm having my shower. Good night no more walks for me ever.....ever...

10 th of July Krankenhaus and Innsbruck

Today we're taking the train to Innsbruck arriving at lunchtime. No we don't arrive at lunch time. My brother get sick on board the train. His arm wents numb and he cant't feel his fingers and his heart is beating very fast. At the next stop we get off the train. We get off in Linz and take a cab to the hospital -Krankenhaus. Wrong hospital we're out taking another cab going to the main hospital. We gets help but it takes a while because of some language problems. Service at hospitals in Austria is pretty good and very fast. The doctor and the assistant takes ECG as well as making an X-ray. It's not a heart attack. It's muscle inflamation. That's why my brothers hand and arm went numb and why it feels arround the heart. He gets some pills and salve and we're off again. Doctors orders is that he should take it easy for a while and get some rest. We don't tell him that we're planning to hike the alps in Innsbruck tomorrow... Celebrating at the train station that it wasn't a heart attac. We do what we love to do eat(lovely thai food). The hospital visit was for free, cause we had our European insurance cards with us. For the first time we're actually used them. Well not me, but my brother. After our detour and lunch we continue and arrives in Innsbruck. We get help from the tourist office. The man working at the office is really annoying but this time I shut up.
Behind the scenes
Me - Is it far away?
Behind the desk - Not as far as you have travelled.
Me - Ok how to we get there. (Annoyed)
Behind the desk - Take bus nr bla bla bla bla It's in the old part of town 3000 years old it's clean and has private bath.
Me thinking - Does it really have a bathroom if its 3000 years old.
We take the bus but it's so close by we could have walked. Idiot at the tourist information
The Gasthof Weisses Lamm look like shit and it's expensive check this out.

It looks like no one cleaned the rooms in 3000 years...

9 th of July

Good morning Vienna. At the train station I see some signs that says this way to a B&B. We walk towards that direction and we see it pretty soon. Close by the train station. Great we get a nice room for a great price, HAPPY. After a shower it's time for us to become museum buffs again. We're strolling to the Imperial Palace actually it's the second time I visit the Imperial Palace.

We're walking around in the apartments for Elisabeth (Sisi) and Franz Joseph, the silver collection and the Sisi museum. The Sisi Museum in the Imperial Apartments compares the myth and the facts. Many objects are on show as well as the death mask taken after her assassination. Sisi was stabbed in the heart with a file by a young anarchist named Luigi Lucheni, in an act of propaganda of the deed. We even get to the see the file. Very, very interesting.

From the movie Sissi (Empress Elisabeth)

After all this it's time for guess what a visit to Aida

Burggarten

We also visit the higlight in Vienna Julius Meinl. If you haven´t been there is definitely worth a visit gourmet food from all over the world.

Dinner later in the evening our favourite Indian restaurant in Vienna. Totaly love it. My brother gets some chicken in turmeric (gurkmeja) on his pants turns yellow of the turmeric quite funny...I'm still laughing....I bet he's not...

8 th of July Brasov

We start the morning with a visit to The Black church, Brasovs historic landmark. The church was given its name after disaster struck in 1689. When the Great Fire, set by Hapsburg invaders, leveled most of the town, heavily damaged the church and blackening its walls. So still today the name is The Black church.

Wiev over The Black church. not that black anymore.

After that we buy some fresh fruit and bread and takes the cable car up the mountains sourrounding Brasov (Carpathians, great skiing in the winter). It's really hot up at the top but we walks around for a while and eats our picnic. But then suddenly the weather changes and it gets all dark. We walk very fast back to the cable car and then the thunderstorm catch up with us. When we get back down to the city again we're hiding inside Mc Donalds.

Wiev from the end platform at the cable station overlooking the city.

Brasov also has the longest and narrowest street in Europe

Later on it's pizza time and then we head back to the B&B to pick up the luggage. The train station is not that nice lots of creepy people, that seems interested in us. I'm having a firm grip of my bagpack. This time our compartment for the night looks like this.

During the night we pass campfires with loads of people sleeping and eating around it. Cities that look deserted in the middle of nowhere. To bad I'm to shocked
to take any photos it looks like we're in Asia or Africa...
Tonight I sleep really well and we get to show our passport two times during the night. Next morning we wakes up in Vienna. Good morning Vienna my brohers favourite city.
