30 th of June Olomouc

After an early breakfast we're leaving for Olomouc a city in Czech Republic with lots of large squares and beautiful churches. Arriving at the train station we take a tram to the city center. Then we read the map upside down and walks in every direction except of the right direction. Finally we reach the tourist office and they help us booking a B&B. This time I take care of the mapreading and we reach Penzion Best without getting lost. We're doing a lot of walking in Olomouc. We're looking for a church on Unescos world heritage list but we walk around in circels. Knowing that we should be close by but we can't see the church and it should be pretty big. But then finally behind a corner and behind a building we find it. Before finding it we did need to buy some cold drinks, because I got so annoyed of all the wrong map reading. I needed something to cool down. My brother wants us to by a GPS for our next trip. But I don't know. It must be more frustrating to hear WRONG WAY... WRONG WAY ...all the time.

29 th of June Prague

After the huge breakfast buffé. We head for the metro that takes us to Prague Castle. We spend a couple of hours within the castle courtyard and the weather is just perfect. It really feels like holiday.

In the evening we watch the final in Euro 2008 on outside big screen tv, together with screaming fans from Spain and Germany. Congratulations Spain. Parenthesis my brother gets annoyed with a Spanniard in the bathrooms at Prague castle that squeezed ahead of the line (consisting of my brother) They are already celebrating and singing Baila el ChikiChiki.

28 th of June Prague

An early breakfast at the airport hotel Arlanda. Everything at the airport is working out good. We're flying Czech Airlines to Prague a really good airline better than SAS. The flight is approximated 2 hours but we get food, drinks and coffee. That you never get on a SAS flight in economy class. Anyways arriving in Prague we take the bus and then the metro to the metrostation close to the hotel. But as usual we're having problem reading the map and we're doing loads of walking asking people for the right way. But finally we find it about 200 m from the metro hmm I don't want to talk about it.
We take a walk down to the Charles Bridge and then we head back to the hotel. After all tomorrow is another day.

SUMMER VACCATION

JIPPI YEEAH. Europe here I go again... Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, Barcelona. I'm going to keep a diary at least trying. We're leaving on Friday we're staying at the airport for a night. My Birhtday is on Friday what a perfect start on a birthday. It can't get better than this. And when I get back home there's a lovely house waiting for me...

An excursion to a garden together with my "workmates". Not the best weather but at least som change from our daily work routine.




For lunch we had nice veg food and dessert. A day out from the office just to get our strenght back...
